- Our Approach
Nail City Bronze. Founded 1877.
Nail City Bronze has been pouring bronze in Wheeling, West Virginia since 1877. It is the oldest division of Mull Group, and one of the oldest active foundries in the Ohio Valley. When we acquired it, we kept the name, the pattern shop, and the craft — and added CNC finishing so the same building that casts your bronze part also finish-machines it.
We cast bronze and brass components up to 2,000 pounds — bushings, bearings, worm wheels, gears, pump impellers, wear rings, valves, and custom architectural castings. Our pattern library holds over 10,000 patterns, which means for a wide range of standard components we can skip the pattern lead time entirely and pour the next day.
Custom alloys on request. If you’ve got a load condition the standard alloys don’t solve, our team will work the chemistry with you.
