Ten industries · One trusted partner

Mills, plants, and operations running on our work

Steel built Mull Group — and the same engineering, machining, casting, and assembly now serve ten industries with the same demands: heavy loads, tight tolerances, and zero patience for downtime.

Ten industries. One trusted partner.

Steel mills built Mull Group, and they remain at the core of our work. Over the years we have expanded that capability into industries with similar demands — large engineered components, tight tolerances, demanding service environments, and the need for a partner who answers the phone when things go down. The industries below all share that profile.
01

Steel

Integrated steel producers and mini-mills are Mull Group’s foundational market. Mandrels, gearboxes, chocks, mill components, foundry castings — every category we offer was first developed for the steel industry. Hot strip mills, cold mills, processing lines, casters, finishing operations: we’ve worked on all of it since 1961.
02

Automotive

Tier-1 and Tier-2 automotive suppliers depend on Mull for precision-machined components, stamping support equipment, and the engineered assemblies that keep production lines moving. Our 5-axis CNC capacity makes complex automotive geometries deliverable on tight schedules.
03

Aluminum

Aluminum rolling mills, smelters, and processing operations rely on Mull for mill-side equipment, bronze components, and the rebuilds that extend service life. The same engineering depth that supports steel translates directly to aluminum production environments.
04

Forging

Forge shops and ring rolling operations rely on Mull for tooling, press components, and the heavy structural assemblies that survive forging-floor environments. Our weld and stress-relieve capacity makes us a natural fit for the demanding loads forging equipment sees daily.
05

Mining

Heavy mining and aggregates equipment — drum components, bushings, shafts, and structural assemblies — built for the most demanding operating environments. When a mining operation can’t afford downtime, our 24/7 emergency response and in-house bronze foundry keep production moving.
06

Nuclear

Precision components and assemblies for nuclear power generation, manufactured to strict quality standards with full material certifications and traceability documentation. Where the cost of failure is highest, our engineering and quality discipline is at its strongest.
07

Paper

Paper and pulp mills depend on Mull for roll repair, drum components, and the heavy mill equipment that keeps production lines running. Our roll-repair sub-service supports paper customers directly with grinding, journal restoration, and overlay rebuild.
08

Oil & Gas

Drill components, pump assemblies, valve bodies, and structural equipment for upstream and midstream operations. Our in-house bronze foundry casts the corrosion-resistant alloys that oil and gas service environments demand.
09

Power Generation

Generating stations rely on Mull for boiler-feed pump components, turbine support equipment, and the heavy industrial assemblies that support continuous power production. Coal, natural gas, hydro — wherever uptime is non-negotiable, our work earns its place.
10

Water Treatment

Municipal water and wastewater facilities depend on Mull for industrial pumps, valve components, and the bronze castings that keep treatment systems running. When OEM support disappears, our reverse-engineering capability brings discontinued equipment back to service.

One source. Every capability.

Whatever industry you’re in, the work behind the work is the same: engineering, machining, casting, and assembly — each one in-house, each one feeding the next. No subcontracting. No supply-chain handoff. One PO, one shop, one delivery date.

Our four core capabilities work together on every project we deliver:
