Engineering & Design

Mull Group's in-house mechanical engineering team — CAD drawings, reverse engineering, engineering studies, failure analysis, and capacity upgrades.

Mechanical Engineering.
In-house.

Our in-house mechanical engineering team produces all drawings, engineering studies, and analysis work — for our own manufacturing and as a standalone service for customers. Reverse engineering, capacity upgrades, failure analysis, and CAD work the OEMs won’t do.

Every drawing we ship. We draw ourselves.

Most machine shops run on OEM drawings. When the OEM drawing is wrong, obsolete, or unavailable, the shop stops. Mull Group has its own mechanical engineering team — real engineers with real CAD stations — doing the design, analysis, and drawing work that keeps our manufacturing moving and that we also offer to customers as a standalone service.

If your OEM has vanished, your print is 40 years old, or your equipment is failing because the original design didn’t account for today’s tonnage — we can study it, redraw it, analyze it, and upgrade it. You don’t need a consulting firm. You need engineers who also know how to build what they design.

Study the problem. Draw the solution.

Upgrade the design.
01

Studies & Analysis

Engineering studies that answer the "why is this failing?" question — and the "how do we fix it?" question that follows.
02

CAD & Drawings

2D prints and 3D models — production drawings that your shop or ours can build from.
03

Reverse Engineering & Upgrades

When the OEM is gone or the original design can't handle today's load — we measure, redraw, redesign, and document.

Engineering capability. Verified.

What we get asked to figure out.

Obsolete OEM Redraws

Rebuild drawings when the OEM is gone.

Capacity Upgrades

Redesign for higher tonnage or speed.

Failure Analysis

Root-cause reports with photo and data.

Reverse Engineering

Physical sample → production drawing.

Design Integrity

Review existing design against current loads.

Component Redesign

Replace failing components with improved versions.

Assembly Design

Multi-piece assembly drawings and BOMs.

Feasibility Studies

"Can this be done?" — with the math to back it.
